I have to say that choosing Anthony Barton Funeral Directors was the best decision we could have made for our beautiful mam’s final journey. After the biggest and most devastating loss and shock our family has ever experienced, both Anthony and Tami have been incredibly supportive, kind, compassionate, and respectful. From the very first phone call through to the end, they went above and beyond to make such a difficult time as easy as possible for our whole family. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Tami was our celebrant and led my mam’s final farewell with such warmth, care, and professionalism. The service was so personal and beautifully delivered that almost everyone asked if she had been one of my mam’s friends. That is a true testament to how much time, effort, and genuine care she put into getting to know who my mam was. Nobody ever wants to make that phone call to a funeral director, but if you ever find yourself having to make the hardest phone call of your life, I honestly couldn’t recommend Anthony Barton Funeral Directors highly enough. You will be treated with kindness, dignity, compassion, and genuine care every step of the way. Thank you so much, Anthony and Tami. You have been two of the most important, supportive, and compassionate people we have met during the most heartbreaking and devastating time of our lives. We will never forget everything you have done for our family or the beautiful farewell you gave our mam.

I would just like to say how much I and my family appreciated Anthony and Tami’s kindness and empathy shown to us on the recent loss of my husband Arthur. It was an extremely difficult time but they guided us through everything, nothing was too much trouble. The actual funeral was everything we asked for. Tami’s eulogy was beautiful, she really captured the person that Arthur was. Thank you again, your kindness will never be forgotten.

Anthony and Tami guided us through the most difficult time with kindness, empathy and professionalism. The support they provide before, during and after the service was outstanding. Tami resided over the service at the Crematorium, after speaking to the family conveyed a heartfelt sermon on our behalf. We would highly recommend Anthony, Tami and their team, they really are wonderful people.

Anthony and Tammy, were extremely helpful and caring from the first call the family made to enquire about their services. They looked after my brother, collecting him the MRI as soon as they were allowed. The care and application to arranging the service, advice on what we needed to consider and the professionalism on the day was second to none. I highly recommend.

Anthony and Tami are a truly wonderful team. I cannot thank them enough for the thought, care and attention they showed my family and my Grandma whilst looking after her. They make you feel comfortable and take the pressure away at the most difficult time you will ever face, from the initial phone call, managing the admin, planning the funeral and the little touches, to the day itself. Tami also delivered the service for us at Dukinfield crem, she listened to our family memories and made sure she delivered a heart felt service which was very personalised. She even researched and found a beautiful poem which she read out at the end and was very fitting for my Grandma. I would highly recommend them both.

We as a family cannot thank these guys enough for the service they recently provided for our dad’s funeral. Throughout the heartbreaking time of our life’s the care and compassion was felt by us as a family. Losing the love of my life is the most heartbreaking feeling I have ever endured. I didn’t know how I would navigate what lay ahead. As soon as I contacted Anthony and Tami, they made what I perceived as an unbearable task, into a day so personal, warm, and love-filled. Available at anytime, no question too small, no request denied. All aspects were meticulously dealt with, with immense empathy and compassion during a difficult time. Their professional, kind, and caring manner made a world of difference, every aspect personalised to my darling and our family and friends. The day was a true celebration of my Rodders life, heartfelt eulogy from Tami, and the consummate professionalism from Anthony and all the team. I don’t have enough superlatives to praise these marvellous people enough. Would recommend this wonderful independent family service in a heartbeat. They made an unbearable day a joyous celebration and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

I used Anthony Barton after my father passed away. I can not put into words how pleased I was with the service he provided, caring, tentative, professional and was always available and willing to answer any questions I had. I was kept fully updated throughout the whole process. I can not recommend or praise Anthony and his team high enough. If I could give more than a 5 star rating I would.

From the moment we first contacted Anthony and Tammy after Dad passed away we knew we had made the right choice. At a time when we felt raw and vulnerable. they took time to listen and explain things to us regarding our options as we decided what we wanted to do. We never felt rushed at all which was so important for us. Everything leading up to the funeral as well as the funeral itself was conducted with such dignity and respect and when it came to the eulogy, Tammy spoke so clearly and captured Dad perfectly The way they showed care and compassion to us will make us forever grateful knowing that Dad was in their care.

What can I say about Anthony and Tami our family trusted them to look after mum after she passed what amazing job they did they sorted absolutely everything every tiny detail no pressure, no rush, nothing was to much trouble for them I think mum would have been more than happy with the way Anthony and his team looked after her Thank you to you both and all other members of you team. It was our mum’s wish for Anthony and Tami to arrange her final Journey. Having previously used their services. They provided a professional service with Compassion and Empathy from day one. Nothing was to much trouble. They supported us through a very emotional time, They took the time to listen, to what we wanted annd answered all our questioned, fulfilled our wishes and delivered them in a very professional and comforting way. All our family and friends who attended mums funeral commented on what was a beautiful service it was. We cannot thank them both enough. My personal experience with Anthony Barton independent funeral directors was exemplary from the outset, both Anthony and Tami showed exemplary levels of empathy and care towards myself and family, they’re truly remarkable people and I could not have hoped for the level of service given at an extremely difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble, the attention to detail was perfect, everything was just how our mum wanted it to be. Post funeral communication has also been excellent. Anthony and Tami are remarkable human beings who made a lasting impression on me and my family. Thank you both.

On behalf of the Collins / Farren family we are extremely grateful for the care and compassion Anthony and Tami gave to us all when Susan Collins suddenly passed away. Anthony and Tami supported all the family here and indeed all Susan's relatives from Ireland through a very difficult time with a perfect dignified funeral for Susan. Anthony and Tami were so accommodating with all their time enabling all the family to be involved and able to pay their final good bye and respect to Susan. Despite Susan and her family not living in the Tameside area; the funeral in Longsight and burial at Southern Cemetery Tami and Anthony were able to support and accommodate all the requests from the family. Not sure without them we could have had such a perfect funeral for Susan. Thank you
